Why work with chains, you ask?
The most difficult part of any squat or progressing move is at the very beginning. Once the lift is started, mid-range power and momentum make the lift progressively easier, right to the very top of the lift, where there is strength to spare!
Lifting with chains will put most of the weight on the deck at the beginning of the lift. As you explode out of the hole, the length of airborne chain increases, creating progressive resistance & increased weight throughout the entire move. The result is increased strength AND flexibility through your entire range of motion.
Each 5′ length is fitted with a 9/16″ carabiner at each end that will easily slide over a 2″ Olympic sleeve, taking about the same space as a 5lb plate. It allows for instant length adjustment from bar to deck for virtually any exercise from overhead presses to decline bench presses. You can secure the chains with your regular collars that you use every day. The 9/16″ carabiners will clamp over most dumbbells for a variety of optional uses.
